- This is a WENTWORTH SAW VISE OR CLAMP (side mount type) for sharpening crosscut saws, which mounted to the side of a workbench. NO 3 WENTWORTH''S PAT APR 8 79 (1879). It seems to work fine and is still usable. The jaws are 10 3/4 inches wide and open to about 1/8". Comes exactly as pictured.
