- This item is very large. It has a clamp for mounting to the edge of a bench, and a ball joint which can put the grinding wheel in a variety of angles with respect to the sput that protrudes from the arched pivot. There's also a slotted bracket parallel with the wheel, and a piece of angle iron bolted on to serve as a tool rest for regular grinding on the edge of the wheel. The largest round portion of the case measures approximately 9.5" in diameter. Patent dates look like Aug-1-1910 (not exactly sure what year it says) and Dec-1-1914. The inside of the arm has written what looks to be R98M or R98W, hard to tell. Comes are pictured. Please view the video and all the pictures for condition. It is being sold as is.
