This listing features one SERVING PLATTER by Shenango China. At 13" by 10 1/2", it's the largest platter they made and it is considered a serving piece. Platter is in good condition, just a little wear on from utensils. A piece any collector would want.
The pattern is known as "Well of the Sea"; designed circa 1954 by Paul W. Cook (at Shenango) and based entirely on the "Well of the Sea" (restaurant) murals by Richard Koppe. The "Well of the Sea" restaurant was located in Hotel Sherman in Chicago.
This item is in good used working condition. Just some very minor scratches and markings from use.
